Episode 224 - The AFTN Soccer Show (Missed Opportunities - Whitecaps v San Jose, MLS lie of the land, Tim Parker, Rich Fagan, World Cup qualifiers)

Well, Vancouver Whitecaps blew it. Their first Western Conference regular season title was there for the taking, but they couldn't get the job done against San Jose Earthquakes at home. We're joined by AFTN writer Joe Deasy to look back at the match, what went wrong, and are there any positives to take from it?

We'll also hear the thoughts of Whitecaps coach Carl Robinson and the Quakes' Chris Leitch after the game.

They get a do over though next weekend in Portland. We preview that match and how the 'Caps might set out their stall. We also look at the lie of the land in MLS and the various playoff possibilities and implications for Vancouver now. Episode 223 - The AFTN Soccer Show (New York Nightmare)

The ups and downs of Vancouver Whitecaps' season have been on full display over the past two games. In true Forrest Gump style, you simply do not know what you're going to get from them, apart from perhaps not that much satisfaction in their performance.

Episode 221 - The AFTN Soccer Show (Seattle v Vancouver Preview Show featuring Steven Agen, Fredy Montero, and Kendall Waston)

Vancouver Whitecaps are still top of the West, with five games remaining. With four of those matches on the road, the 'Caps will need to be at their best to stay there and it gets off to a tricky start with a trip to Seattle on Wednesday evening.

We preview that match with Radio Cascadia's Steven Agen. Can the 'Caps extend their unbeaten run to eight? Are the Sounders slumping? How will Fredy Montero be received? All this and a lot more Cascadia Cup chat.

We also hear from Fredy Montero himself about heading back to his old haunts, plus Carl Robinson, David Ousted, and Jordan Harvey chat to us about how the 'Caps need to approach this season run-in against their closest challengers.

Episode 207 - The AFTN Soccer Show (New York City Is A Graveyard with guest Carl Valentine)
